Conversation: The Year in Film

It’s that time of year again. Time to wrap the presents and time to wrap the artistic year up in its glories and travesties. Our last conversation about 2011’s offerings is about movies.

I recently talked to the New York Times’ A.O. Scott about this year’s trends (nostalgia), his favorites (Terrence Malick’s “The Tree of Life”) and not-so-favorites (Adam Sandler’s “Jack and Jill”).

On Wednesday, I spoke to the Washington Post’s Ron Charles about the year in fiction. On Thursday, I talked to the Los Angeles Times’ Randall Roberts about the year in pop music.

We're not going anywhere.
