But not anymore. Gunn, the fashion mentor on Bravo’s ‘Project Runway’ and chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne, says he’s looking forward to the new first couple bringing a return of style not seen in the nation’s capital since the Kennedy administration. The Obamas, he says, know how to look great — in high style or on a budget. And he’s thrilled that Michelle Obama has become known for wearing American designers. “We’re all eager to see what she is going to wear to both the swearing-in ceremony and the balls,” he says.
