(Those who read Spanish will find a not insubstantial bio here.) He and journalist wife Ana Westley are also old friends from a year in the late 1970s that we spent together on a journalism fellowship. So when we headed to Spain to report on its economy, their home was the first port of call. Jose figures in tonight’s story from Spain on the NewsHour.
