After the Associated Press called the race in Wisconsin for Joe Biden this afternoon, results are outstanding in just six states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada and Alaska. President Donald Trump won in all but Nevada in 2016. Several of the states also have uncalled Senate races that will be critical to determining which party wins the majority. One of Georgia’s two Senate races will go to a run-off in January, while the other has no declared winner so far. Alaska Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan is favored to win in his race, but with only 45 percent of the expected vote counted, it’s too soon to call. Republican Sen. Thom Tillis in North Carolina is in a tight race to hold onto his seat there, while Democratic Sen. Gary Peters in Michigan is also in a close race.
