The Associated Press called Maine’s second district for President Donald Trump more than 16 hours after polls closed on Election Day. Democrats won the district in every presidential election since 1992 before it flipped for Trump in 2016. Maine, like Nebraska, is not a “winner-takes-all” state. Biden won three of the state’s four electoral votes earlier Wednesday morning, but Trump has won the final outstanding elector. 

The win brings Trump’s Electoral College total to 214. Biden has 238.
