‘I Am an American Graduate’ – Presenting the Class of 2012

As graduation season approaches, we invite you to share your graduation story with the American Graduate project. We will curate them on our “I Am an American Graduate” Pinterest board, in partnership with other public media partners across the country.

Who can contribute?
Students, family, friends, teachers, community groups: whether you or someone you know graduated from a traditional high school, GED program, vocational or technical school or military training program, etc. please send them our way.

What kind of photo should I submit?
Anything that illustrates your graduation – be it a graduation portrait or pictures from your commencement with your family, friends before or after the ceremony. Feel free to be creative and think outside of the box.

Should I include a caption?

Yes, please include one to two sentences about the photo and what graduating means to you. Include your name, school and location.

How do I submit?

Unless otherwise asked, we will use your name on your photo and may also use it on the PBS NewsHour’s website.
