Hundreds of protesters were corralled by police in Washington, D.C. this morning before Donald Trump took the oath of office. Many of them seemed to follow the “Black bloc” style of protests, which can be more violent and emphasize anarchy and anti-capitalism. NewsHour producers P.J. Tobia and Mark Scialla followed some of them as they moved from Logan Circle further downtown until they were stalled and corralled by police where arrests took place.
