The FBI and other law enforcement officials are expected to speak during a press conference at 4 p.m. ET after a shooter opened fire Saturday in a Pittsburgh synagogue, killing at least 10 people.
The shooting happened during a baby naming ceremony at Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood. Police have identified Robert Bowers as a suspect, who is in custody.
Calling it an anti-Semitic attack, President Donald Trump said it was a “wicked act of murder,” reflecting some of the “ugliest and darkest times” in world history.
