President Donald Trump and Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver a joint statement at 12:25 p.m. EST. Watch live in the video above. The U.S. president arrived in Israel from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he gave a speech at the Arab Islamic American Summit, advocating cooperation among countries in the Middle East to eradicate “Islamic extremism” in the region. Before meeting with Netanyahu, Trump met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. The president signaled his involvement in the peace process between Israel and Palestine, calling it the “ultimate deal,” if successful. “We have before us a rare opportunity to bring security and stability and peace to this region and to its people,” Trump said after arriving in the country.
