Killing anyone after birth is illegal. No states have or are considering laws that allow for the killing of a baby after birth. When asked about her plans around abortion rights during the ABC News Presidential Debate, Harris pointed this out, and supported reinstating protections formerly offered by the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022. “Nowhere in America is a woman carrying a pregnancy to term and asking for an abortion — that is not happening.
