Turkish military says it has toppled Erdogan, taken control of country

The Turkish military says it has carried out a coup against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, but just how much support it has was in question. Coup leaders cited Erdogan’s autocratic rule and the growing terrorism in the NATO member state and said a peace council will restore democracy. Judy Woodruff talks to Simin Demokan of Bloomberg News and Steven Cook from the Council on Foreign Relations.
