Head of FEMA resigning, questioned over use of vehicles

The head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency is resigning, months after an investigation found he misused government vehicles to travel to his home in North Carolina.

DHS secretary: FEMA chief misused cars, but won’t lose job

The head of the federal disaster response agency used government vehicles without proper authorization, but will not lose his job over it, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said Friday.

FEMA head denies intentionally misusing federal vehicles after report of watchdog probe

Brock Long said the inspector general was looking into vehicle usage, but he didn't confirm that the review concerned his use of an official vehicle. Politico reported Long was under investigation for possibly misusing government resources and personnel on weekend…
