Remember Simba and Lula suffering at Mosul’s zoo? This rescue team has good news

After one failed attempt to rescue a lion and bear from the Mosul zoo in Iraq, a team from Four Paws this week successfully brought Simba and Lula to their new home -- an animal sanctuary in Jordan.

UPDATED: It took months of planning and unanticipated hangups at border crossings, but the Four Paws International team led by Amir Khalil succeeded in removing Lula the bear and Simba the lion from their confines at the damaged Mosul zoo…
