Supreme Court keeps a Missouri law on hold that bars police from enforcing federal gun laws

The 2019 law was ruled unconstitutional by a district judge but allowed to remain in effect. A federal appeals court then blocked enforcement while the state appeals the district court ruling.

Supreme Court lets Illinois keep ban on sale of some semiautomatic guns for now

The high court denied an emergency request from people challenging the law, which bans so-called assault weapons. The law's opponents had asked the court to put the law on hold while a court challenge continues.

Semi-automatic rifle ban passes Washington Legislature, governor expected to sign

The measure would cover more than 50 types of guns, including AR- or AK-style rifles. It bans the future sale, distribution, manufacture and importation of these firearms. The bill will go into effect immediately once it's signed.
