Keystone XL operator asks Nebraska to reconsider after state approves alternative pipeline route

On Monday, TransCanada said it is seeking further clarification from the commission about its approval of the alternative route, which adds an additional pumping station and five miles to the energy company's preferred route.

Court can’t suspend Keystone XL pipeline decision, Trump administration says

Justice Department attorneys are due in U.S. District Court in Montana on Wednesday to defend the administration's March approval of the 1,179-mile pipeline — a lightning rod in the debate over what to do about climate change.

Canada determined to diversify despite Keystone XL approval

Canada's natural resource minister said his government is happy the Keystone XL pipeline been approved, but that Canada remains determined to diversify its oil exports.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump declared it a "great day for American jobs" on Friday as he formally green-lighted the Keystone XL pipeline, clearing the way for the $8 billion project to finally be completed.
