DeLay Indicted in Texas Grand Jury Probe

A Texas grand jury indicted House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, and two of his political aides Wednesday, charging them with one count of criminal conspiracy in connection with an alleged illegal campaign finance scheme.

The U.S. House Ethics Committee "publicly admonished" three members of Congress late Thursday, including House majority leader Tom DeLay, R-Tex., for their actions during the legislative battle over President Bush's Medicare prescription drug bill.
