There were no reports of deaths. One of the suicide bombings occurred in the western city of Jiddah, near the U.S. consulate. Another took place in the eastern region of Qatif. A third explosion was reported near the Prophet’s Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites in Medina, where the Prophet Muhammad is buried. Images on the Sabq news website showed fires at buildings around the mosque. There were no immediate reports of injuries and deaths, according to the Associated Press.
