Big Mouth Bean Toss

Jun 5, 2019

Make a fun bean bag toss game to play at your child's Peg + Cat themed birthday party.

Materials

Directions

1

Place the frying pan down at the center of the poster board. Using the pan as a guide, draw the jagged shape of Big Mouth around the pan with a black marker. Cut the outline with a craft knife.

2

Draw a large mouth onto the widest part of the Big Mouth poster board and then cut the outline with the craft knife. Trace the mouth opening with the black marker.

3

Print and cut out the Big Mouth printable pieces.

4

Glue the eyes, eyebrows, teeth, tongue, and horns to the front of Big Mouth.

5

With the black marker, draw two hands about 5 inches below Big Mouth’s mouth. Draw a jagged line from the bottom, center of the cut out, stopping just below the hands to make the legs.

6

Fill three snack-size resealable bags with beans. Seal the bags and fold them over to form a small square.

7

Using the bean bag as a guide, cut a long rectangle of yellow felt. Make sure to leave a half inch border around the bean bag and enough to fold over the top to cover the entire bag.

.

8

Close the three open sides with hot glue. Trim any excess felt.

9

Time to play! Place Big Mouth near your party table and have the kids see who can toss the most “little yellow things” into his mouth!
