Block Painted Hide-and-Seek Rocks

These block-painted hide-and-seek rocks are a craft project and an activity rolled into one!
Materials
Directions
Have your child find and collect rocks or, if you don't live in an area where you can do this, you can find them at most craft stores.
Paint the rocks all over in one solid color, then allow them to dry.
Cover one half of each rock in masking tape. Paint the uncovered side in a different color than the colored side.
Remove the tape and allow the paint to dry. Your child now has block-painted rocks!
Once all the rocks are dry, hide them around your house or in your yard. Have your child find the rocks! You can repeat and play this game as many times as you wish.
