Book Party Cupcake Toppers

Print several copies of the PBS KIDS for Parents cupcake topper printable. Cut the 'books' out with scissors.

Fold the cutouts in half to create the cover of the book.

Place a small dab of glue along the top of your toothpick and adhere it to the inside, bottom 'spine' of your folded book cover.

Tear several book pages from the old book. Cut 'pages' for the cupcake topper 'books' to the size of 3.5" wide x 2" long pieces.

Fold the book page pieces in half.

Place a thin strip of glue along the folded crease of one book page piece. Adhere it to the front of another book page piece to create the inner 4 pages of the book cupcake topper. Repeat this step until you have enough page sets to fill all of your book covers.

Apply glue to the back of the book pages and stick them inside your book covers, centering them along the spine of the books and over the top of the adhered toothpick.

Insert these toppers into the cupcakes on your table for a fun and colorful way to carry out your book party theme!
