Citrus Peel Holiday Garland

Cut peels into geometric shapes and string them into decorative garlands when they're dry!

Cut the oranges in half with a knife.

Juice the orange halves.

Scrape the orange peels clean with a spoon.

Cut the peels into shapes with scissors.

Lay the peel shapes on a cookie sheet.

Bake the peel shapes in the oven at 200 F for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Poke two holes in each peel shape with a thumbtack.

Thread a strand of baker's twine through the two holes in each peel shape. Ta da! Display your garland as a sweet-smelling holiday decoration.
