Make lunch fun! Decorate brown bags to turn lunch prep into an art project with these colorful picnic bags.

Materials

Directions

1

Lay your paper bag flat and have your child decorate it any way he wishes with markers. He can doodle scenery or even make fun patterns. This is a great activity for children of all ages! You can make an assembly line and doodle a whole bunch of bags. You can then save them for later or invite a group of friends to join in on a picnic lunch!

2

Once his doodles are complete, he can punch two holes in the top of the back (one on each side of the opening) by punching the holes in the top.

3

Pack a lunch inside the bag for your child, then tie it closed with some yarn. Enjoy your lunch!
