Turn your children into paper dolls by using their pictures in this customizable craft!

Materials

Directions

1

Cut out the head of your child in the photograph, cutting around the chin.

2

Glue your child's head onto the cardboard/poster paper. If your child is older, he can draw the shape of a body attached to his head. If your child is younger, you can help him with this step. The most important part of drawing the body is creating a simple design for the shirt and skirt/shorts, as you will be cutting this portion out.

3

Cut out the inside of the shirt, following the lines as neatly as possible. Repeat for the inside of the skirt/shorts. Tip: To get the cutout started with your scissors, press down in the center of your drawing, puncturing the tip of your scissors through. Cut from that point towards the edge and then around.

4

Slip colorful or patterned paper behind your child's paper doll to experiment with different clothing combinations.
