These felt rose magnets are fun to craft and would make fantastic end-of-the-year gifts for your school's teachers and faculty! With the help of a parent, kids can make these roses in an array of different colors. How many different color combinations can you make?

Materials

Directions

1

Cut a small felt square into a circle.

2

Cut the circle in a spiral pattern.

3

Twirl the spiral into a rosette starting from the outside, working inward. Make sure that the end piece flaps over the back.

4

Add a little hot glue so that the flap will stick to the back.

5

Hot glue a cardboard circle to the back of the felt flower.

6

Glue a strong magnet to the back of the cardboard.

7

Fringe a thin rectangle of felt. Twirl it lightly.

8

Glue the twirled fringe to the inside of the rosette.
