DIY Telescope

Make this awesome telescope with and for your kids using just a few materials!

Directions
Using the cylinder as a template, trace a circle onto the sheet of acetate.
Add a rectangle to the top half of the acetate circle to create a slide shape. This will work as a handle of sorts, and allow your child to pull the slides in and out of their telescope.
Carefully cut out the shape.
Paint the telescope and scenery of your child's choice onto the slides.
Using an X-Acto knife, cut a slit halfway through your telescope. This is where the slides will go.
Insert the slide and you're done! Now it's time for your children to play and let their imaginations run wild.
