Make a playful ladybug using a recycled plastic fruit cup.

Materials

Directions

1

Slide the hole punch over the rim of the clean fruit cup and punch three holes on each side of the cup. Try to line up the holes as best you can on each side.

2

Paint the fruit cup red. Note: It may require two coats. Let it dry completely.

3

Paint black dots on the top of the fruit cup. Let the dots dry completely.

4

Cut a 2 1/2'' piece off from one of your black pipe cleaners. Bend it in half to make antennae.

5

Using the hot glue gun, glue on your large pom-pom face to the front of your ladybug, then glue on the two googly eyes and the antennae. Note: Make sure not to cover up any of the holes in your fruit cup when you glue on your pom-pom.

6

Cut your other black pipe cleaner into thirds. Lace the pieces through the holes in your fruit cup to make six ladybug legs. Bend them downward slightly to hold them in place so that they won't come out of the holes.
