Make a nice holiday decoration and get rid of pesky paper bags at the same time with this fun recycled wreath craft.

Materials

Directions

1

Use your dinner plate to trace a circle on the cardboard.

2

Make a second, smaller circle inside of the dinner plate circle using the smaller plate.

3

Cut out your cardboard wreath.

4

Draw a leaf shape on a piece of paper, then trace it on a paper grocery bag (still folded up) to make a bunch of leaves.

5

Cut out your leaves, making sure that you cut through all of the layers of the bag.

6

Fold each leaf in half by making a strong crease down the center, then unfold.

7

Starting in one direction, glue the leaves to your wreath form. Keep them all going in the same direction and fill in open space as much as you can.

8

Glue your cap on the back of the wreath to use as a hanger.

9

If you choose to do so, spray lightly with gold spray paint (or another color of your choosing). Happy holidays!
