Explore your creativity with this magical craft activity and make a wand just like the one Pinkalicious uses in Pinkalicious & Peterrific!

Materials

Directions

1

Using a pencil, draw the shape of a star onto the card stock paper and then cut that star out. Trace the star into another section of the paper, and then cut that piece out so you have two duplicate stars.

2

Color the stars with a yellow marker or crayon.

3

Sandwich the wooden skewer (pointy side in the sandwich) between the two stars and glue them together so they cover the end of the skewer and are perfectly matched. The edges should line up as perfectly as possible!

4

Cut three pieces of pink ribbon and glue them to the bottom of the star.

5

Add some glitter to the edges of the yellow star for some extra sparkle!

What other types of shapes could you create to make your wand unique? What could you use in place of the ribbon? Can anything else besides a wooden skewer be used for the base of the wand? Would a pencil work? Being creative is all about improvising. What ways could you be more resourceful with this craft?
