Create a whole neighborhood in one afternoon with this craft that recycles old paper bags!

Materials

Directions

1

Cut out the shape of a roof (a triangle) on one side of a bag near the base, then cut all the way around the bag. The roof will be taller than the other sides.

2

Flatten the bag. On the roof side, paint the front a solid color. Once finished, set aside and allow to dry.

3

Once the paint is completely dry, paint on details such as a door and windows. Paint the roof.

4

Weigh the houses down with some pebbles or toss a few toys inside. Line your houses up on the sidewalk for hours of pretend neighborhood fun!
