Reuse an old plastic bottle by turning it into a magnificent airplane.

Materials

Directions

1

Cut three triangles out of cardboard and tape them to the top and sides of your bottles. These will be the wings of the plane.

2

To make the paper mache paste, combine four parts water to one part flour. Cook over the stove until the mixture boils and has a custard-like consistency.

3

Cut your paper (crepe, newspaper or magazine pages) into strips. Coat them in the paper mache paste and stick them on the plane until the whole bottle and wings are covered.

4

Let the plane dry overnight.

5

After the plane dries, draw on windows and decorations. Then let your child's little imagination explore!
