Directions

1

Using a tape measure, measure the wrapping paper to a 22” piece. Today we are doing large pinwheels, to use as a back drop for our main party table.

2

Accordian fold your wrapping paper into 1” pleats until you have folded the entire length of the sheet you cut. Repeat the above steps 2 more times, so you have 3 long strips of accordion folded paper. Round or diagonally cut the edges of each strip, but be careful to make them the exact size.

3

Fold all 3 strips of accordion folded paper in half and using double sided tape or a glue stick, adhere the sides together, Repeat this on the remaining two accordion-folded strips of paper.

4

One by one, stack the folded paper on top of each other and stick them together using double sided tape or a glue stick.

5

Lay your pinwheel flat and fan the accordion folds out into a circle, then adhere the two sides together with your tape. You can secure the center with staples to give you extra stability.

6

Hot glue the cardboard circle to the back center of the pinwheel (so you can stick it to the wall with a thumb tack) and then hot glue the Daniel Tiger printables circle to the front and you are ready to create a show-stopping backdrop to your party table!
