After getting some inspiration from “The Very Busy Spider” by Eric Carle and singing (of course) “The Itsy Bitsy Spider,” we decided to take on this lacing spider web craft that the kids adored.

Materials

Directions

1

Cut several notches around the edge of your paper plate.

2

Tape the yarn to the back of the plate. Start weaving it over and across the plate, fitting it into the notches.

3

When the yarn runs out (or you're satisfied with your web) tape the end of the yarn on the back.

4

Add your spiders.

Happy Halloween!
