There are lots of potatoes in Someplace Else — from Donkey Hodie’s potato stand to the Ruby Red Tater Treasure to the pals’Tater Buddy toys. Gather some friends and family and enjoy your own Tater Toss game. You just need some hee-hawesome “Donkey Hodie” songs, and a potato (real or homemade) for tater-tossing fun!

Directions
Have all the players sit in a large circle. Place the potato in the middle of the circle. Decide who will pick up the potato for the first round.

Start the Donkey Hodie playlist. While the music is playing, have the players gently pass the potato around the circle.

Stop the music. Whoever is holding the potato is out. Have them step out of the circle and then the remaining players can scoot in to form a smaller circle.

Continue starting and stopping the music at random intervals until there is only one child left. The last player remaining is the winner!

To make the game more exciting, children can make up additional rules, like asking the person holding the potato when the music stops to sing their favorite “Donkey Hodie” song before they leave the circle and the next round begins.

We hope you had fun together! Snap a photo of you and your child doing the activity and share it with us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. We’d love to see how it turned out!
