Materials

Directions

1

Print out pictures of the person you want to turn into an elf. It should be small enough to fit on a normal index card.

2

Cut out the face from the printed-out picture, being careful to cut around the hair and chin.

3

Cut out a small red triangle, curved on one side, for the elf hat.

4

Cut out an elongated semicircle shape (like a small curved mountain) out of the green construction paper for the elf's shoulders.

5

On each side of the mountain shape, cut out a skinny triangle to form the arms.

6

Glue the shoulders, face, and hat onto an index card using a glue stick.

7

Using the glue gun, attach a pom-pom to the tip of the hat, and then another to the center of the shirt.

8

Write a festive holiday message on the card and you are all ready to send it on its way!
