Shamrock Shaker

Make a fun (and musical) shamrock shaker out of paper plates for St. Patrick's Day!
Materials
Directions
Draw a shamrock on the bottom of one paper plate.
Use an X-Acto knife to cut most of the way through the plate.
Paint the bottom sides of the plates green, and let your child go crazy with the glitter and stickers! Let the plates dry.
Turn the plate with the shamrock over so that the inside is facing up.
Fill your plastic bag with the St. Patrick's Day goodies.
Tape the plastic bag down taut over the shamrock cut-out. Turn the plate over and pop out the shamrock.
Place the other plate on top of the plastic bag, green side (bottom) facing out, so that the bag is sandwiched between two plates. Glue the rims of the plates together and let them dry.
Let your child explore sounds by making music and explore touch by feeling around the bag.
