Thanksgiving Estimation Jars

Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Use the holiday to spark an interest in more than just turkey and pumpkin pie.
Materials
How to Set it Up
Cut out a turkey head from the brown foam, a waddle from the orange foam, and a beak from the red foam.
Use the double-sided tape to layer them together to form a turkey. Tape one googly eye on.

Attach one turkey head to the outside of each of the glass jars. Repeat steps 1-3 so that you end up with three turkey jars.
Fill the jars with pom-poms.

Set up a sheet of paper and pencil to write the estimation and results down.
How to Use the Jars
Estimate how many pom-poms are in each jar. Write your answer down on the paper.
Take the pom-poms out and count.
Record the results. Were you close? Fill the jars with new amounts of pom-poms to play again!
