The Very Crafty Caterpillar

Use recycled goods and brightly colored pipe cleaners to make this colorful caterpillar craft. This colorful craft is a great prop for reading Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."

Materials

Directions

Tear strips of tissue paper and glue them to the paper towel tube to make stripes.

Twist 12 pipe cleaners around the body to form legs.

Cut a small circle the size of the end of the paper towel roll out of the small piece of cardboard, then draw a face on it with your pen.

Fit the circle onto the end of the paper towel roll.
