Directions
Divide your frosting into six bowls, one for each color of the rainbow.
Add a small amount of color to each bowl of frosting, a little at a time until you achieve the color you are after. Remember, a little goes a long way! Stir well.

Repeat Step 2 until you a bowl of each color.

Read the easy instructions on the back of the piping bags for information on how to attach the coupler, tip, and base. Fill your piping bag with the first of your colors. (Hint: Place the piping bag into a tall drinking glass and fold it over the sides before using a spatula to fill the bag with frosting.) Squeeze down firmly until the frosting is just about to the edge of the frosting tip and ready to pipe!

Using two hands, one on the base of your piping bag and one at the top of the bag to keep the frosting from squeezing out, start piping from the outside of the mini cupcake in. Move in a circular motion, dipping down slightly until you reach the center of the cupcake before lifting up quickly. Once you practice a bit, you'll find this technique is super simple and looks oh-so-pretty!

Pipe all six of the colors onto the cupcakes and place on a wooden artist's palette to create a gorgeous display of Art Party Desserts! Don't forget to use our 'Palette' Pastry printable and easel stands to really impress!
