Before You Play
Before preparing any food, have a discussion about safety in the kitchen. Ask your child what tasks she might be able to handle when preparing a meal? Talk about jobs an adult should handle.
Directions

Explain to your child that you are going to help her prepare a special breakfast that could be served on the Dinosaur Train. Help her create a menu that lists the food items. (You can help younger children write out the menu items.) View the printout for possible menu items.

Together, decide what you will prepare.
