Striped Candy Pretzel Rods

Heat your bag of orange candy melts in the microwave in 20 second increments, stirring in between until your candy is melted (if you overheat it, add a drop or two of vegetable oil to thin it out) and pour it into a tall glass.

Dip the pretzel rod into the melted candy and tap off the excess, then lay the pretzel rod on a lined cookie sheet until the candy dries.

Melt the chocolate candy melts in a bowl the same as the orange melts, and once they are heated to a smooth, liquid temperature, pour the chocolate candy melts into a plastic baggie, snipping of a small corner at the bottom of the bag.

Slowly drizzle the melted chocolate up the pretzel rod to create ‘tiger stripes’ and repeat on all of your remaining pretzel rods.
