The weeks leading up to Halloween can be super exciting for kids — and grown-ups! If your family is already in the Halloween spirit, it can be hard to wait until October 31. So, between prepping costumes, carving pumpkins, and crafting decorations, try playing some new PBS KIDS games!

Here are 11 Halloween-themed games from PBS KIDS to play! These free learning games are available on the PBS KIDS website and the PBS KIDS Games app.

  1. Party at Alma's: There's a Halloween party at Alma's house! Your child can help prepare games, food, and songs for the guests. And everyone can dance in spooky costumes! This open-play game helps children use their problem-solving skills.
  2. Arthur’s Tricks and Treats: Trick or treat with Arthur and his friends! In this game, children mix and match each character's favorite treats before time runs out. But watch out! There are a few tricks to spook you out of a high score.
  3. Road Repair: Zeke and Snout are decorating the Treeborhood! Use shapes to fill holes in the road so they can get across and complete their mission. This fall, each character has new decorations, like autumn leaves and jack-o-lanterns!
  4. Dress Up: Playing dress-up can help your child develop imagination and creativity. In this game, your child can put together fun and creative Halloween outfits for Daniel Tiger and his friends. (After your child is done with the game, invite them to play dress-up themselves!)
  5. Donkey’s Fro-Yo Stand: Donkey Hodie is serving frozen yogurt treats to her pals, and she needs help! In this game, children follow steps to complete customers’ orders. As they play, children also practice following a plan and being persistent. Make sure to try the new fall flavors: pumpkin, toasted marshmallow, and candy apple swirl. And don’t forget the pumpkin spice sprinkles to top it off!
  6. Pinkcredible Story Maker: Make up a story starring Pinkalicious and her friends. In this online game, your child can create pictures using characters and props to tell a story that has a beginning, a middle and an end. For fall, you can build your own story with a jack-o-lantern and a scarecrow!
  7. Nature Art Box: Use the tools in this nature-inspired virtual art box to create colorful pictures and patterns. Your child can add stickers of Nature Cat and his friends to complete the picture. For fall, add stickers of the characters in Halloween costumes!
  8. Elmo and Abby’s Dress Up Time: Wearing a costume can be a special part of Halloween for families. In this game, Elmo and Abby want to play dress up. Your child can choose pieces of clothing to complete the outfits Elmo and Abby want to wear. Your child can dress them up as baseball players, astronauts, bugs, and more!
  9. Xavier Story Creator: You child can create their own stories using an interactive mad-libs style of play with a little help from Xavier and crew! Choose the Mary Shelley tale for a spooky or silly story — it might involve a giggly ghost, a dancing book monster, or even a silly ant!
  10. Team Hamster! Power Painters: Create some spooky paintings with simple machines from Team Hamster! Players help the tiny hamsters fix large paintings that Janitor Ruff accidentally messed up. This STEAM-focused game takes a fun approach to learning about simple machines by using gears, ramps, springs, and pulleys to create different shapes.
  11. Echo Explorers: Is there a more spooky animal out there than a bat?! Well, this game is full of them! The game is all about echolocation, which is the use of sound waves to find things. Bats send out sound waves from their mouths or noses! Use echolocation in this game to find objects in a cave and rescue the bats.
