"Mom wants to know what time your ferry arrives in Whittier next Wednesday so that we can pick you up for "The Big Gathering.”
Many types of schedules can be found online — ferry schedules, bus schedules, and library hours to name just a few. Schedules help us know when something will happen and can help us make a plan.

Molly uses a chart on the Alaska ferry service website to figure out when her cousin Randall will arrive in Whittier. She looks at both the location and the time to make sure she has the right information.

Schedules can be found in lots of places — not just online! Where else can we find a schedule of times and events?
Look for printed schedules when you are out. Can you find a bus stop with a posted schedule, a store with the hours printed on the door, or playground hours posted on a sign?
