Talking About Creativity with Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum

"Creativity is about using your imagination to solve problems and finding ways to do things differently."
Conversations have real power for kids - in helping both relationships and social skills grow! Talking about what you watch can be a great way to have great interactions. These moments with Xavier, Brad, and Yadina help create ways to talk about some of life’s most important lessons and skills. Take a few moments to watch this video and answer the questions below - or make up a few of your own!
In this clip, Yadina, Brad, and Xavier use their creativity to make up a new game that they all can play. They are reminded of Sacagawea and how she used her creativity to guide others.
First, ask your child:
- What did you notice? What questions do you have?
Then, discuss with your child what you noticed and ask questions like:
- How do you think Xavier felt when he shared the news about his injured arm?
- What solutions did Brad and Yadina come up with by using their creativity?
- What ways do you practice your creativity?
- Tell me about a time you had to be creative to solve a problem.

Follow Xavier, Yadina and Brad as they tackle everyday problems by traveling back in time!
