In this clip, Yadina and Xavier want to learn more about Brad’s favorite holiday. They are reminded of how Frederick Douglass was always curious to learn new things and gain knowledge.
First, ask your child:
- What did you notice? What questions do you have?
Then, discuss with your child what you noticed and ask questions like:
- What were Yadina and Xavier curious about?
- Can you remember a time when you were nervous to ask a question?
- How do you think Brad felt when Yadina and Xavier showed their curiosity about his favorite holiday?
