presentations & professional
development
Art:21 encourages local and regional partners such as museums, community-based
organizations, schools school districts, and local PBS stations to use
the Art in the Twenty-First Century series and educational resources to introduce contemporary
art and artists to educators and community members.
Art:21 provides unique
access to the voices of contemporary artists and the opportunity to discuss
and interpret their work, working processes, and sources of inspiration
in a variety of ways. Through workshops, seminars, presentations, and
institutes Art:21 supports a growing network of educators who are integrating
new art and new ideas into their curriculum and presenting contemporary
role models for critical thinking and creative problem-solving for their
students.
If you have questions about Art:21-related professional development or
are interested in creating a workshop for local teachers, docents, or
other local educators please visit art21.org.
