student art projects As an expanding archive of student work, the Art:21 Web site depends on teachers like you to submit new materials to keep the site growing! register on beta.art21.org We encourage educators to submit examples of projects they have created based on the Art:21 series or its educational materials. You should Register Now with Art21 to contribute; if you've already registered with Art21, click here. submission guidelines Art:21 maintains editorial control over all submissions of student projects. Art:21 will contact all teachers who submit content before they are posted on the site. If you would like to submit a student project, please prepare the following information in advance.: CONTACT INFORMATION Including name, phone, email address, and mailing address SCHOOL INFORMATION & SUBJECT AREA Including name of school, city, state, subject area, and grade levels taught PROJECT TITLE A short title of 1-5 words PROJECT DESCRIPTION 100-300 word description of the project should include a narrative about how the project was initiated, implemented, and completed in addition to how specific Art:21 video segments, artists, quotes, interviews, and/or themes were referenced and used in the creation of the work. QUOTES Quotes from students or teachers who participated in the project. For all quotes, please provide the full name of the student and their specific grade level. MEDIA Projects should be accompanied by digital images and/or video of student artwork and/or of students working on the project. We request that all media be approved for public posting on the Web before being submitted to Art:21 by having students and/or parents sign a written release waiver approving their use on the Art:21 Web site. Once media has been received, Art:21 assumes that it has been approved for public posting. MEDIA CREDITS Please include a list of photo credits to accompany all images so students or other participants can be properly credited. |
