"[I’m] trying to develop a new topography, a topology that can still be space. That is the mathematics in the real world. It’s an equation, or a new speculation, with a real object like the car or the elevator, the ping-pong table or the billiard table, or the skull- a speculation related to space, topography, mathematics, and the logic of the object itself, transformed to make it clearer but, at the same time, something else."
- Gabriel Orozco
