Avi Antheby, 35, a lawyer
Avi, a father of two, has his
own private law firm. I met him as he was coming out of court.
“This election campaign is
very confusing. We used to have black and white and now we have gray;
it’s a new color that we don’t know.”
Avi is debating whether to
vote for Kadima or for the left-wing Meretz Party.
“I don’t like Olmert. He
seems to me like he wears new masks. It isn’t the man we knew from
previous years. He is making an effort to look like a statesman, but
I don’t buy it.”
“Hamas will have to mellow
because they depend on our resources and the world public opinion. They
will have to become willing to converse with us.”
“I miss Sharon. He was a
man of action. Even though I didn’t always support his opinions, like
Begin in his times, he knew how to make a stand and he followed his
decisions.”
