Yoav Hochman, 21, soldier
Yoav serves in the Israeli
navy. He grew up in Kochav Yair, a border town. It’s the first time
he is able to vote, but he isn’t sure that he will, even though a
spokesperson for the Israeli army guaranteed that every soldier in the
sea, on air and on land, no matter where, would be able to vote during
this election campaign.
“There is too much talking.
The Israeli politics is corrupt. I might vote for Tafnit of Uzi Dayan.”
Uzi Dayan, a former deputy
of the Israel Defense Forces’ Commander in Chief, is now the leader
of Tafnit, a new party whose main platform is fighting corruption.
“I hope Olmert will not be
elected. He is corrupt for sure. They are all making promises to get
elected, and then they don’t do anything.”
