Janice Goldwater is the founder and executive director of Adoptions Together. This non-profit adoption agency has placed more than 1,600 children in adoptive homes, including 400 children with special medical needs such as HIV, birth defects, and prenatal drug exposure. In 2001 Goldwater received an "Angel in Adoption" award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Ithaca College and a Master's degree in Social Work from Washington University.
